Would
you like to volunteer with Puppets in Education?
There are many ways for the community to get involved:
|
|
|
Puppeteers
Looking
for a volunteer opportunity that provides the winning combination of
puppets
and kids? Join our puppeteer troupe - no experience needed!
Training in puppetry skills (based on the Japanese art of Bunraku
puppetry) is
provided throughout the year. Individuals and groups can schedule
a free training course with our Master Puppeteer.
Puppeteers are asked to perform once a month in
schools
throughout
Vermont. Volunteers of all ages - high school and up - are
welcome.

Board
Members
Puppets in Education is a
non-profit agency
run by committed board members. We seek a diverse group of
individuals
with expertise in business/finance, public relations, planning, and
education.
The greatest qualification for potential board members, however, is a
desire
to help educate children on how to keep themselves safe and healthy and
to appreciate each other's physical and cultural differences.
